Sustainability Commitment

SWIMWEAR WITH IMPACT
Saving our oceans, one swimwear at a time
We use eco-friendly ECONYL ® Regenerated Nylon made from recycled ocean waste
We have certification from Global Recycled Standard and
OEKO-TEX Standard to guarantee high-quality materials that are regenerated
Each purchase of a piece of bikini enables every consumer to:
CO2
Prevent 1.01 lbs
of CO2 emission
Recycle 8-10 bottles
Save 2.13 KWH
of energy
1% of purchase goes back to making our sea plastic-free

THE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMING PLASTIC INTO FABRIC
The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with gathering waste from the ocean like fishing nets, fabric scraps, and of course, plastic.
REGENERATE
After waste collection, it goes through depolymerization process where it transforms waste into polymers.
REIMAGINE
Kelapa Ecoluxe Wear turns ECONYLR regenerated nylon into timeless high- quality pieces of swimwear designed to last forever. And this is just the beginning.
REMAKE
From depolymerization, it goes through 5 more steps of rendering, extrusion, loading, stretching, drawing, and finally, spinning the regenerated waste fiber into ECONYLR Yarn.

ETHICALLY-MADE WITH LOVE                                                                                      Saving our oceans, one swimwear at a time
We started our business in a year in which Bali was going through one of its worst economical crisis. With the production of our swimwear, we have helped to create well-paid jobs in Bali in a time where jobs are scarce.
Our manufacturers are paid well over the minimum wage, 13 months' salary a year. They receive free medical insurance covering doctors' fees, prescribed medication & hospitalization, which we extend to their spouse & up to three children. They are provided with freshly healthy cooked meal for lunch every day, double wages for overtime and working condition on-par to western standards.
Our packaging is also handwoven by a small local community we support in Tampak Siring, near Central of Bali. 100% of profits from our special palm leaves clutch, will go back to them.

SAVING THE OCEANS,
ONE BIKINI AT A TIME!
1% of every purchase goes back to our Healthy Sea
We do what we can to keep our tropical paradise plastic- free. Partnering with Seven Clean Seas', we preserve marine life by removing ocean plastics.
